No Tears
Don’t cry for me when I am gone
I wasn’t meant to be here anyway
I have outstayed my welcome this time
And it seems so bloody long.
Falling in love far too many times
Heartache felt so hard, I cried
Why do I punish myself like this?
These are not all my crimes!
Four seasons of the year
And for every one more pain
I’ve spent my life in a hopeless dream
New Years Eve I shed a tear.
This is just a shadow of me you see
Once upon a time it was a happy me
Now hopes and dreams are gone
Replaced by just my fears that go on.

By the way I'm not any good at poetry or English in general. I am dyslexic so it won't make sense to anyone but me.

Beautiful poem! I'm glad Tami featured it! I've felt this way a great deal of my live and New Years isn't the worst for me... but it is in that long period of forever that does feel like that... Kinda makes me sad :S
